Here I have my original designs but also another design next to them slightly different. We have one with boarders and one without.

More progress - Promotional Kit

Below is my progression since the last post. Here I have applied my specific logo design to the applications. We were told to do a letterhead, envelope, business card and DL slip. Instead of the DL slip I have chosen to do a promotional keyring. These will be handed out to clients to either put on their keys, leave in their car or just hang somewhere at home. Everything included within my promotional kit has my contact details.

Business Card(s) - Here I wasn't sure whether I should do a horizontal or vertical business card. So far I have designed both and I will ask around to see who like what style best.

The following are all my progress shots that I've taken throughout the entire process of creating this logo.

After experimenting with my initials I tried using different shapes and the basic black, white and grey for the colour scheme to see what it would look like.

Here I sketched out some of the designs (a bit more challenging) I could do with my initials, I focused on 3 to start with and this is shown using the pen tool above.

Once I found my design I decided to experiment with different colours. I really loved the red and blue pastel styles but also like to just stick with the basic black (it goes with everything and is very safe).

These were just 2 extremely out there and experimental designs. Didn't think about using these at all, just wanted to play around with the over-lapping technique.

The next step was to play around with different ways of layout and placement using colours and shapes. I really fell for the circular/organic look.

This is the final 'thumbnails' I did for the assignment and I agree on the top left design but it still needs some work.
